Information for parents - How to book
How Do I Book?
Step 1 - Registration
In order to book any activity that is part of our holiday programme we must hold a valid & up to date registration form for each child. This must be in the Sports Centres possession PRIOR to making any bookings. The best way to register is to complete a registration form and return it to us via post or hand it in at reception. The option to do it via email is possible but it requires the form being printed, then signed (forms must be signed) and scanned back onto the computer ready to email. Registration Forms can be completed at any time throughout the year. If you submit a form but details later change (e.g. move address) then a new form must be completed and sent to us. Each time you book you will be asked to confirm your childs details with us.
Step 2 - Booking & Paying for an Activity
Once we have a valid registration form you are then able to book.
> ALL BOOKINGS MUST BE MADE WITH PAYMENT
> You can book the following ways:
Phone - Call reception and book and pay via Credit/Debit card (this can obviously only be done if your child is already registered).
Post - A Booking Form along with a cheque can sent to us via post (please note the time delay involved).
Reception - You can pop into reception and pay via Cash, Cheque or Credit/Debit card.
Email - You can email us with your booking but please note we will still need to check your childs details and take payment before the booking can be confirmed.
> Bookings will close at 4.00pm the day before your chosen activity (bookings will not be accepted on the day).
Please note that some activities have limited spaces so it is advised to book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
Refunds/credits can only be granted if at least 48 hours’ notice is given prior to the date of the activity - this ONLY applies to activities that do not have limited spaces.
If you wish to cancel a booking on an activity that has a set limit of spaces then we must first resale the space before we can issue a credit/refund.
All places are non-transferable.
All activities are subject to minimum participant bookings. For any activity that is cancelled by us due to insufficient numbers all booked participants will be offered a refund/credit.
> We cannot take responsibility for children who are dropped off earlier than the stated registration time.
> Children who are more than 20 minutes late for an activity may be refused access to the activity and no refund/credit will be issued.
> Those children who do have permission to walk home (as stated on their registration form) will not be allowed to leave without an adult signing them out (e.g., they will not be allowed out in to the car park to meet whoever is picking them up).
> Appropriate clothing and footwear should be worn to all activities (ie. Sports clothing - no jeans or flip flops). For specific activities extra information on what should be worn will be provided.
> We cannot accept responsibility for valuables if anything goes missing.
> Inappropriate or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated. In the event of such behaviour participants will be withdrawn from the activity and parents may be contacted and required to collect their child.
> We cannot accept responsibility for any bookings that are sent but not received.
For all day activities please bring a packed lunch and plenty to drink.
For football activities please bring boots, trainers and shin pads.
For Outdoor Pursuit and sailing activities you will be sent a letter to notify you of your requirements for the day.
Important note: no confirmation of booking will be sent.
