Glass Bottle

Found during the renovation of Ashton Gatehouse, the water was bottled by a Bristol-based company named Hansford & Co.

This bottle was made in the 19th century by Redfearn Bros. They were filled in Bristol with Hansford mineral water, with Robert F. Hansford being the manufacturer. He was helped by his older brother Alfred Hansford and his partner, James Stenner.

Medicine bottle

This bottle is most likely a Victorian era medicine bottle similar to those in the picture.

Dizzi Fizzi

These bottles are similar to another type of corona sparkling drink, but there is no information specifically on the Dizzi Fizzi drinks. If anybody knows anything about these bottles please contact Ashton Gatehouse.
